ABOUT THIS MEMORIAL
Dane Thomas Siess peacefully passed away at his home on May 30th, 2024, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Born on July 14th, 1982, in Moore, Oklahoma, Dane was the son of Gary Thomas Siess and Deanna Fay Siess (Miller).
Dane's formative years were shared between the landscapes of Oklahoma and Colorado, where he cultivated his love for adventure and the outdoors. A skilled CDL Driver, Dane possessed an innate ability to fix anything that crossed his path, earning him admiration among peers and friends alike. He took great pride in maneuvering his sizable truck, equipped with what he fondly referred to as "lots of gears."
Among Dane's greatest joys was spending quality time with his children, Kinzie and Zander, whether it was playing catch or enjoying their shared love for camping and fishing. His knack for organization was legendary, he loved to be busy and always had multiple projects going at one time. He also collected random parts or pieces of things in case he needed to fix something or just invent something better. He also enjoyed teaching his children how to fix and use multiple types of tools or as he always said, "Come on, kids we've got man work to do." He had a way of being very particular about the way he did things and liked them to be done. There was never a dull moment with Dane.
Dane's warm-hearted nature extended beyond his immediate family, as he was always willing to lend a helping hand and had an infectious sense of humor that could brighten anyone's day. He particularly enjoyed poker and ping-pong garage tournaments with friends.
Dane found a loving family that embraced him when he married Tiffany, his mother, father, and sister in law all loved him unconditionally.
Dane is survived by his loving wife, Tiffany K Siess, his cherished children, Kinzie Siess and Zander Siess , his mother-in-law, Nancy Bennett, father-in-law, Stevan Bennett, sister in law Tabitha Toms (Jon), father Tom Siess and mother Deanna Siess, his sister Cori Savageau (Jason), and his sister Lori Lee (Ryan), all of GJ, CO. He was also survived by many cousins, extended family, and friends.
A celebration of Dane's life will be held on Wednesday, 06/12/24 at 2 pm at Martin Mortuary, located at 550 North Ave, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
